We are seeking a CAD Drafter to join our Engineering team. The basic function of this position is to be a part of a team that prepares detailed drawings for the construction of concrete water tanks, including: tanks, piping, foundations, components, accessories, and formwork. Drawings are primarily 2D AutoCAD. Pay is in the $20/hr to $25/hr range with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Creating drawing packages with assistance from design engineer and senior drafters
• Updating drawings based on redlines/markups from Design Engineers
• Collaborating with project team
• Creating formwork drawings
• Creating piping drawings
• Producing scale drawings for details and accessories
• Copy checking
• Producing As-Built drawings
• Converting hand sketches into scale AutoCAD drawings
• Creating bid drawing packages
• Capable of meeting submittal deadlines

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Drafting/CAD or equivalent experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Highly motivated
• Strong attention to detail
