As an Operations Lead at C & S Antennas, a global leader in advanced HF antenna systems for military and emergency communications, you will oversee and actively participate in production activities. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to ensure timely builds, material readiness, product quality, and compliance with U.S. government regulations.
Responsibilities- Lead and participate in the hands‑on assembly of MULTILITE™, LONGSHOT™, CANSF
230, FANLITE™, SOF
230, CARRYMAST™, and other HF antenna systems. - Develop and execute build plans to meet customer delivery timelines.
- Build new product designs and implement updates to current products.
- Restore manufacturing capability for legacy C & S Antennas products as required.
- Manage procurement and inventory through ERP systems.
- Ensure timely ordering of components, hardware, and raw materials.
- Accurately take, process, and coordinate customer orders.
- Oversee ITAR, MIL‑STD, and other U.S. government compliance requirements.
- Lead, mentor and develop a build support team.
- Partner with Quality to process and resolve RMAs in a timely manner.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of manufacturing/operations experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in defense or telecommunications.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Knowledge of U.S. government compliance requirements (ITAR, MIL-STD).
- Ability to lead and work hands‑on with complex technical products.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- U.S. citizenship required as mandated by our government contract.
- Prior experience in defense, tactical communications, or advanced antenna systems.
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience implementing process optimization.
- Proven track record of rebuilding or scaling small‑batch technical manufacturing operations.
- Ability to bridge technical requirements with customer needs in fast‑moving environments.
