We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead and support the preparation of construction drawings for single-family residential developments. This role involves supervising a design team and ensuring high-quality deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

• Oversee the development of construction drawings for single-family residential projects.
• Lead the design team in creating plans for paving, grading, storm drainage, detention, water, and wastewater systems under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Generate and refine 3D surfaces using survey data and project specifications.
• Develop surfaces from alignments and profiles to support design accuracy.
• Maintain well-organized design files to ensure seamless collaboration across the project team.

• Civil engineering, Civil, Construction, Design, Land development, residential design, grading, drainage, survey, EIT, paving, subdivision design

• Minimum of 3 years of civil design experience, specifically in private single‑family residential developments within the DFW area.
• Construction plan production using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within one year of hire.
• Proven ability to coordinate with internal design teams and municipal staff to facilitate project reviews and secure permits.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Expert Level

Contract position based out of Richardson, TX.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
