We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead and support the preparation of construction drawings for single-family residential developments. This role involves supervising a design team and ensuring high-quality deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Responsibilities- Oversee the development of construction drawings for single-family residential projects.
- Lead the design team in creating plans for paving, grading, storm drainage, detention, water, and wastewater systems under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Generate and refine 3D surfaces using survey data and project specifications.
- Develop surfaces from alignments and profiles to support design accuracy.
- Maintain well-organized design files to ensure seamless collaboration across the project team.
- Civil engineering, Civil, Construction, Design, Land development, residential design, grading, drainage, survey, EIT, paving, subdivision design
- Minimum of 3 years of civil design experience, specifically in private single‑family residential developments within the DFW area.
- Construction plan production using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within one year of hire.
- Proven ability to coordinate with internal design teams and municipal staff to facilitate project reviews and secure permits.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
