Impact You Will Make

As we enter the next chapter of our growth, we are seeking hands on, ASIC (AMS) Design Engineering Manager who is ready for more—more technical impact, more ownership, and more influence on team, process, and product direction. This is an opportunity to lead a fast-moving, multidisciplinary team and play a central role in shaping our future. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience leading analog and/or mixed-signal design teams, with the ability to contribute meaningfully at both the technical and operational levels, and embodies the values we hire and build around:
Hungry, Humble, and Smart. You will drive design excellence, guide strategic planning, and help ensure first-pass success across our product and IP development efforts. Specific technical expertise is desired in a broad range of process technologies and complex, high-performance circuits with applications such as Neurostimulation, Ultrasound, ROICs, Wireless Transceivers, Energy Harvesting, Sensor Interface and more. In this role, you will lead—and work alongside—a small design team operating with startup-style agility. Your contributions will directly influence our product roadmap, our IP pipeline, and our ability to meet near-term and long-term operational goals.

The Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your passion for servant leadership of high-performance silicon realization teams to drive business success and positive company culture with specific responsibilities that include:
  • Design planning, proposal and execution of high-performance mixed-signal ICs from concept to production
  • Management representation interfacing cross-functionally and with key customers
  • Lead the proactive evolution and instilling of best practices to improve business performance, engineering efficiency, and repeatable quality results across the company
  • Recruit, train and manage and growing world-class design engineering team to deliver results with integrity, commitment, and excellence for a wide variety of ASIC and SOC applications
  • Represent IC Enable in negotiations with suppliers, IP vendors and foundries
  • Customer satisfaction and quality of deliverables for all projects
  • Develop accurate schedules and resource estimates
  • Support quality management continuous improvement activities at the business and team level
  • Evaluate and deliver on performance metrics for team by communicating individual and team goals with remote and local team members effectively
  • Continuously grow yourself and your team’s performance through proactive thinking on personal, design and technology training
  • Ability to be hands-on and flexible across multiple functional roles from leading the design, layout or verification team and phases from proposal to production supply chain management
  • Manage your team’s financial and project objectives as well as proactively seeking out new business opportunities
Qualifications
  • Role requires candidate to be approved under ITAR compliance requirements (U.S. Persons, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), and legally protected individuals like asylees and refugees)
  • BS in Applicable Field with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent
  • Solid design experience in DC regulators, PLLs, data converters, and amplifiers.
  • Proven record of technical project leadership success developing integrated circuits
  • Must have thorough understanding of best practices for silicon development tools and processes
  • Strong communication, debugging and analytical skills with complex technical concepts
  • Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies and design applications preferred
