The Cash Application Analyst accurately processes and applies customer payments to the Lennox accounting system, reconciles discrepancies, resolves payment issues, and maintains accurate financial records to optimize cash flow.

• Accurately post customer payments from checks, ACH transfers, credit card, and wire transfers to the appropriate customer accounts.
• Match customer payments with invoices and identify discrepancies between received payments and outstanding balances.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies by coordinating with the credit analyst and relevant departments to clarify issues and ensure proper fund allocation.
• Participate in continued cross‑training to broaden knowledge within the Cash Applications Team and support backup coverage for all work functions.

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of related experience in accounts receivable or cash application.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficiency in accounting principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience with accounts receivable and cash application processes is a plus.

Salary range: $39,000 – $51,500 annually for the market. Employees are eligible for bonus in accordance with the company plan.
