The Medical Assistant at Village Health Partners (now a part of Catalyst Physician Group) will help our communities thrive by supporting clinical operations and assisting providers in delivering high-quality healthcare. • Manage patient rooming to efficiently meet daily appointment schedules
• Review presenting issue, visit history, orders, and update EMR appropriately
• Assist Physician or Advanced Practitioner with examinations or procedures
• Obtain vital signs and prep patient for visit
• Fluent in medical terminology & medication refill protocols
• Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and updating patient records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
• Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, clinic environment
• Appropriately elevate issues outside of existing protocols to meet patient needs
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Adhere to infection control policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Work well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environment

• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• Experience with medical EMR systems
• Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and HIPAA rules and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members

• Previous experience in a Primary Care office setting
• Athena EMR experience
• BLS with hands on training
