Overview:

Requirements:- Bachelors/Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
- Current Texas state license
- Experience in pediatrics required.
- Clinical/Practicumhours completed.
- Homehealth experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
- Definepatients' degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensoryimpairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
- Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
- In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate teamgoals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the teamin specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
- Planfor and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
- Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.
- May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
