Director of Human Resources

A rapidly growing Quick Service Restaurant group is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and scale HR strategy across a multi-unit, multi-state operation
. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced restaurant environments and can build people-first systems that support continued expansion.
About the Role
The Director of HR will partner closely with executive and operations leadership, owning all aspects of human resources while supporting growth across multiple markets. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership
, ensuring compliance, consistency, and strong culture across locations and states.
- Lead and execute HR strategy for a multi-unit, multi-state QSR organization
- Serve as the primary owner of employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Partner with Operations leaders to support field management and hourly workforce needs across multiple locations
- Oversee recruiting strategy, onboarding, and retention initiatives at scale
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across multiple states
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks for consistency across markets
- Support compensation, benefits administration, and workforce planning
- Build leadership development and succession planning programs for field and corporate leaders
- Track HR metrics, reporting, and continuous process improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership during periods of growth and change
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience;
restaurant or QSR industry strongly preferred - Multi-unit and multi-state HR experience strongly preferred
- Proven background supporting high-volume hourly work forces
- Strong employee relations and labor law expertise across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience building and scaling HR infrastructure in growth environments
- Collaborative leadership style with strong business and operational acumen
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (required)
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred
