Are you a hands-on data expert with a passion for building scalable platforms and mentoring high-performing teams? We’re looking for a Technical Lead
- Data Engineering to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade data solutions that power analytics, business intelligence, and operational excellence.

What does a Technical Lead-Data Engineering do?

  • Define best practices and architect secure, high-performance data platforms using Azure Data Services
  • Guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop robust data pipelines, integrations, and frameworks. Partner with BI teams to deliver Power BI solutions with optimized datasets and secure access.
  • Translate business needs into scalable data solutions in collaboration with product owners, analysts, and business leaders.
  • Enforce data governance, monitor performance, and drive operational excellence across platforms.

What is required?

E
ducation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

Experience:

  • 8+ years in data engineering, database development, and platform management, and data warehousing required
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership role required
  • Expertise in Azure data services and SQL Server required
  • Experience with Power BI, CI/CD practices, and cloud optimization required
  • Experience with Terraform, and real-time streaming (Kafka) required
  • Exposure to API integrations, multi-cloud environments, and data science/ML workflows required
  • Familiarity with BI tools required

Other skills and abilities:

  • Proven ability to align technical solutions with broader business objectives and long-term strategic goals.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional technical teams to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Experienced in guiding teams through transformation initiatives, including the adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Committed to coaching, mentoring, and fostering professional growth within teams to build high-performing talent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships across departments.
  • Apply strong judgment to balance immediate technical needs with long-term vision and scalability.
