Technical Architect – Generative AI (Hands‑on)

Location: Richardson, TX (Hybrid, 3 days a week)

Experience: 10+ years overall, 3+ years in AI/ML, 1.5+ years in Generative AI

Type: Full‑time / Contract

We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Architect specializing in Generative AI to lead the design and implementation of next‑generation AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a practical builder—comfortable designing architectures and developing proof‑of‑concepts using modern AI frameworks and large language models (LLMs).

• Architect and build GenAI and LLM‑based applications leveraging frameworks such as Lang Chain, Llama Index, or Semantic Kernel.
• Design and deploy Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integrate LLMs with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to deliver production‑grade AI systems.
• Evaluate emerging models, vector databases, and tools in the GenAI ecosystem for scalability and performance.
• Lead technical design reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices in AI architecture.

• Strong proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or Azure OpenAI APIs.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma) and embedding models.
• Knowledge of AI architecture patterns, including prompt chaining, multi‑agent workflows, and tool orchestration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with LLMOps, Lang Graph, or AI platform engineering.
• Exposure to multimodal AI (text, image, or audio).
• Cloud expertise in AWS, GCP.
