Director IT for Honeywell International, Inc. (Richardson, TX) RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for delivering analytical insights, intelligence, and value in support of Honeywell's infrastructure platforms and IT services.
- Directly support strategic and operational initiatives which include centralizing IT's operational data in support of thousands of devices and hundreds of IT services, visualizing data to drive actionable insights, interpreting data to improve service/business intelligence, and accelerating the value of data using AI/ML.
- Serve as hands‑on leader who is highly motivated, end‑to‑end focused, and an excellent problem‑solver with a passion for maturing a data‑driven culture.
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 7 years of experience with operating, managing or monitoring IT infrastructure and services.
- Must have 5 years or more experience with the following: managing and visualizing data to drive operational efficiencies; proven track record of building dashboards that simplify data so it is easy to understand and comprehend; ability to develop analytical visualizations and present orally to IT leadership; ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance; data analytical skills;
Splunk expertise; and proficiency in the MS Office suite – PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc. - Must have a Splunk Architect certification.
- Up to 5% domestic and international travel required.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
- Job Site:
Richardson, TX - 40 hours/week
