DevSecOps Engineer

Dev Sec Ops  Engineer – Infosys

Infosys is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer whose primary responsibility is to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements, and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and scope of development. The role requires strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing to best practices for scalable, relevant, and critical applications.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• Manage Linux servers (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform).
• Ensure system reliability and performance using monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK).
• Handle incidents, root cause analysis, and adhere to ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem).
• Provide L2 support and basic troubleshooting for environment support.

• Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Dev Ops tools:
  Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift.
• Scripting:
  Bash, Python/Shell.
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and ITSM tools (Service Now, Jira).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• ITIL certification.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
