AI Architect

Infosys is looking for an AI Full Stack Hands‑on Architect who must be a polyglot with expertise in multiple technologies and can work as a full‑stack developer & architect on complex engineering projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate.
• Minimum 7 years of core development & architecture experience.
• Strong analysis and design skills with deep expertise in core development, design, and architectural experience, and the ability to implement design patterns and architecture patterns.
• 2-3 years of experience developing and applying generative AI models.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications (e.g., text generation, image creation, code synthesis).
• Fine‑tune pre‑trained LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Manage the entire AI development lifecycle, from data pre‑processing and model training to evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements, ensure technical feasibility, and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in generative AI research and actively contribute to continuous improvement of our AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI development practices, focusing on bias mitigation, fairness, and explainability.
• Experience with open‑source frameworks and tools.
• Ability to write high‑quality, highly performant code.
• Evaluate and review performance aspects of new and existing code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality is maintained.
• Perform POCs for new technologies that we may leverage.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with cloud‑based platforms such as Open Shift, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience fine‑tuning open‑source AI models.
• Strong understanding of one or more domain expertise areas and associated industry standards.
• Industry‑acclaimed external certifications, if applicable.
• Active participation in technology forums and contribution to the open‑source community.
