AI Architect at Infosys

Senior-level AI Full‑Stack Architect role. Candidate must be a polyglot with expertise in multiple technologies and able to serve as both a full‑stack developer and architect in complex engineering projects.

Location:

Richardson, TX (must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate).

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or 3 years of progressive relevant experience in lieu of each year of education).
• Minimum 7 years of core development and architecture experience.
• Strong analysis and design skills with deep expertise in core development, design and architecture, and implementation of design patterns and architecture patterns.
• 2–3 years of experience developing and applying generative AI models.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures and natural language processing (NLP).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying generative AI models for applications such as text generation, image creation and code synthesis.
• Experience fine‑tuning pre‑trained large language models (LLM) for specific tasks and domains.
• Ability to manage the complete AI development lifecycle, from data preprocessing and model training to evaluation, optimization and deployment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with data scientists, software engineers and product managers to define project requirements, assess technical feasibility and integrate AI solutions.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of advancements in generative AI research and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement of AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI practices, focusing on bias mitigation, fairness and explainability.
• Experience with open‑source frameworks and tools.
• Ability to write high‑quality, highly performant code; experience evaluating and reviewing performance and conducting code reviews.
• Experience performing proofs‑of‑concept for emerging technologies.
• Experience in fast‑paced, agile environments.
• Authorised to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship (Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship).

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience on cloud‑based platforms such as Open Shift, AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience fine‑tuning open‑source AI models.
• Strong understanding of one or more domain expertise and associated industry standards.
• Industry‑acclaimed external certifications.
• Active participation in technology forums.
• Contributions to the open‑source community.

The role may involve prolonged periods of computer work, use of telephone, email or face‑to‑face communication, and may require travel as per job requirements.
