** Role Overview:
** RTX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced hands on   Enterprise Network Architect   to join our team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level classified network architectures that support complex cloud and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, AWS, cloud and hybrid cloud connectivity, Cisco and Palo Alto automation, classified networking, and system-of-systems engineering.

This role requires a forward-thinking professional who can develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our aerospace and defense operations.

* What You Will Do:

*** Network Architecture & Design:
** Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures for hybrid cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.
* Develop solutions for seamless connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
* Cloud Network Integration:
** Collaborate with cloud architects to ensure optimal performance and security for cloud-based applications.
* Leverage native cloud networking services to optimize hybrid cloud connectivity.
* Automation & Orchestration:
** Implement and manage network automation and orchestration tools, with a focus on Cisco and Palo Alto solutions.
* Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes.
* Classified Networking:
** Design and support secure networks for classified environments, adhering to government standards and compliance requirements.
* Implement solutions that ensure data segregation and secure communication in classified systems.
* System-of-Systems Engineering:
** Develop and integrate system-of-systems solutions to ensure smooth communication and interoperability across various networked systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network designs with overall system requirements.
* Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
** Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring reliability and high availability.
