As a
** Senior Platform IAC Engineer**, you will be supporting the development and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

The
** Senior Platform IAC Engineer
** will be well versed in maintaining COTS/FOSS products and use of tools such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible, Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs.
** Note
* * This position is based in Richardson TX. and work will be performed at the onsite Facility requiring occasional travel to the customer site for upgrade and implementation activities as necessary.
** What You Will Do
*** You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IAC solutions
* You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks
* You will assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare
* You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on premise or virtualized / Cloud based computing environments
* You will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 5 years of related work experience
* Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
* Experience with Tenable, Consul, Terraform
* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
* A current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required, day 1 with the willingness to obtain a CI Poly. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Experience with installing and configuring Kubernetes
* Experience with application deployments to Kubernetes using Helm
* Experience with troubleshooting and debugging deployment and software infrastructure issues
* Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
* Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
* Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)
* Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
* Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
* Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 90 days
