Job DescriptionThe Project Manager — Product Roadmap is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software projects that align with Company’s strategic technology and business goals. This role serves as the bridge between the Project Management Office (PMO), software engineering teams, product teams, QA, L&D, Marketing, and business stakeholders. The Project Manager will lead multiple concurrent software initiatives through the full development lifecycle — from requirements and design to testing, deployment, and go-to-market — ensuring on-time delivery, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
The Project Manager will collaborate with the Power BI admin to maintain the executive dashboard with updated and accurate project status. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Project Management & Acquisitions.
This role is onsite 5 days a week at our Richardson, Texas location.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the end-to-end management of software development projects using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and sprint schedules to track progress and dependencies.
- Partner with the product lead for status updates, sprint planning and demos, as well as strategize with L&D and Marketing teams for go-to-market.
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned through effective communication and regular project status updates.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary to maintain delivery commitments.
- Partner with product owners to refine backlogs and ensure requirements are well-documented and testable.
- In conjunction with product owner, track project KPIs (velocity, burndown, release frequency, etc.) and provide metric-driven insights to leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement by evaluating process effectiveness and suggesting refinements.
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and technology partners as needed.
- Support change management and adoption efforts for new systems and platforms.

RequirementsMinimum Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other relevant certification a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing software or technology projects across full life cycles.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed or cross-functional teams strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid software delivery frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, from planning to deployment.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Smartsheet).
- Working knowledge of software engineering concepts, including version control, QA/testing, and release management.
- Excellent ability to translate technical details into clear, actionable business communication.
- Skilled in project planning, prioritization, and resource management in a dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of best practices for change management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Up to 10% travel.
- The Project Manager is a Richardson-based role, working 5 days in-office at Associa’s new corporate campus.
- The campus has an in-house cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch, in addition to grab n’ go markets. Employees also have access to an in-house fitness center with showers.
