IT Support Coordinator – Richardson, TX

OverviewThe IT Support Coordinator II supports the Richardson, Texas location. The position requires regular travel, schedules M–F 8:00 am–5:00 pm, occasional after hours, and is 100% on‑site.

What does the position do?The IT Support Coordinator II assists in computer systems operations including troubleshooting, maintenance, shipping devices and hardware/software installation. They assist in network and end‑user support by answering calls, documenting incidents, requests for service, and providing user assistance. They also perform PC refresh and imaging of new units, ensuring compliance with company standards before shipping. The role adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities- Answer calls and tickets from end users.
- Document and maintain records of end‑user issues, network issues, support and vendor communications, and hardware/software orders and shipping.
- Troubleshoot basic end‑user questions and problems (including cellular devices, laptops, desktops, monitors).
- Assist supervisor in maintaining network systems, servers, and workstations; installing software and hardware; troubleshooting network problems.
- Image new computers and prepare them for a production environment.
- Assist in documentation of new procedures and log assets in the department tracker.
- Provide basic user support as needed.
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a desktop support role (strongly preferred).
- Experience supporting a work‑from‑home or remote environment.
- Prior computer networking experience preferred.
- A+ certification and MCP in Microsoft Office strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
