Systems Engineer, IT Support

Qorvo’s Federal Contracts team is part of the Legal Department and provides subject matter expertise on all aspects of complying with US Government and Prime Contractor requirements under the FAR and DFAR. This position supports all phases of contracting with these parties to ensure compliance and the proper administration of our contracting process. The successful candidate will work closely with business and operational teams and must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
This is a hybrid role where the current expectation is to be onsite multiple times a week and can be located in Richardson TX, Hillsboro OR, or Greensboro NC.
Responsibilities- Review and respond toFAR, DFARS, and agency supplements and recommend revisions to Qorvo’s standard flow-down responses and compliance templates.
- Prepare Commerciality and Price Reasonableness assertions and Prime Contractor Representations and Certifications
- Assistin drafting and updatinggovernment contractingjob aids, checklists, guidance documents,policies and procedures,and process documentation for internal stakeholders
- Negotiate contract modificationsand exceptionswith
Prime Contractors - Serve asareviewer for solicitations, proposals, bids, and contracts, escalating complex issues to the Manager as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with sourcing, engineering, operations, and program teams.
- Use SAP, Salesforce, and reporting tools toassistwith data analysis,identify compliance trends, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of professional work experience
- Exposure to federal government work
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task, setprioritiesand executetimelyto meet deadlines and strategic objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, judgment, interpersonal skills,including ability to take initiative,anticipateproblems,learn a new area,work collaboratively with the flexibility to adapt
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Working knowledge of FARandDFARand related agency policies and guidelines
- Understanding ofUS Governmentfixed pricedcontracts;
CP, CPFF, OTAknowledge - Prior experience in negotiating federal flow down clauses with defense Prime Contractors
- Experience using
SAP and experience
