Solution Train Engineer

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time

We are seeking a Solution Train Engineer to coordinate delivery across a large wireless technology modernization program. This program moves customers from legacy systems to a simplified, scalable platform.

You will bring together product, engineering, architecture, testing, and business teams to keep major initiatives organized and moving forward. Your focus will be aligning plans, managing dependencies, resolving delivery barriers, and giving leadership clear visibility into progress, risks, and decisions needed.

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of large initiatives, known as Epics, across multiple teams.
• Maintain an integrated delivery plan covering scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and commitments.
• Lead Epic planning and Program Increment (PI) Planning preparation so teams understand priorities, requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings that produce clear decisions, assigned actions, and follow-through.
• Identify dependencies and delivery risks early, establish accountable owners, and elevate issues with practical mitigation options.
• Keep delivery tools and reporting current, accurate, and useful for planning and leadership decisions.
• Partner with testing and delivery teams on test plans, environment readiness, defect resolution, release readiness, and production validation.
• Prepare concise leadership updates explaining delivery status, milestone impacts, risks, and decisions needed.
• Help teams adopt approved AI and automation tools to improve planning, reporting, documentation, and action tracking.
• Improve delivery processes, accountability, and predictability across the program.

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Agile program management, delivery leadership, project management, or Agile/Dev Ops environments.
• Experience facilitating PI Planning, Epic-level planning, dependency reviews, demos, retrospectives, and delivery governance.
• Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, defect management, release preparation, and production validation.
• Experience coordinating complex delivery across multiple teams with competing priorities and changing requirements.
• Ability to use delivery tools and data to track scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical delivery issues clearly to senior leaders.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and establish clear ownership across teams.
• Experience helping teams use approved AI and automation tools responsibly, with appropriate validation and human judgment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and follow-through skills.

• Telecommunications experience, particularly in wireless platforms, customer migrations, billing, ordering, provisioning, digital commerce, customer care, or retail systems.
• Experience supporting large modernization programs or migrations from legacy platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops or similar delivery management tools.
• SAFe, Agile, or Scrum Master certification;
  Release Train Engineer experience; or comparable scaled Agile delivery experience.
• Experience creating executive dashboards, integrated delivery plans, risk and issue logs, and decision summaries.
• Familiarity with integrated system testing, end-to-end customer journey testing, defect triage, and production readiness.
• Experience implementing AI or automation workflows that produce measurable improvements in productivity or delivery quality.
