What Drives SuccessThis Supply Planner balances supply with demand for finished goods or repair parts to ensure targeted customer service rates, inventory levels, and working capital goals are met. The planner manages 100–200 SKUs, ~15 warehouses, and 2–3 factories, develops inventory supply plans, and tracks key metrics such as network and facing fill rates, inventory turns, and working capital. The role requires strong execution skills and a strategic mindset to support scenario planning, participate in S&OP, and proactively collaborate across teams including Sales, Factory Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Deployment, and Logistics.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Balance supply and demand for finished goods to meet service, inventory, and working capital targets.
- Validate inventory targets.
- Perform inventory segmentation and manage inventory of new and phase‑out parts.
- Validate and achieve monthly inventory days of supply; facilitate reduction of excess inventory.
- Support scenario planning and participate in S&OP processes.
- Collaborate closely with Factory Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Deployment, Logistics, and Sales teams.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning processes and systems.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Requires at least 1 year of Production Planning / Inventory Management experience; 2 years in Supply Planning / Inventory Management strongly preferred.
- Technical
Skills:- Proficiency in SAP ECC; SAP IBP experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices in supply planning.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills; proactive cross‑functional collaboration.
- Experience with advanced planning tools (SAP IBP or similar).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and process automation.
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $62,000 and $82,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
