Job Summary

The Head of Client Management will play an integral role in the growth and success of Luminare Health, the region, and the Client Management team. This individual will provide strategic thought leadership, manage new product and initiative rollouts, and lead their region and broader organization. They will develop the regional client management budget, staff modeling, and goal setting, and maintain primary oversight of a small book of self‑funded clients.

The role also involves close collaboration with the Client Management team, company departments, consultants, and vendors, and the personal responsibility for one key regional client.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic thought leadership and direction for the region, focusing on high levels of service and retention for all clients.
  • Analyze monthly reports, industry and client results to identify trends and set appropriate strategy.
  • Act as the face of Luminare Health within the market and with clients, establishing credibility and trust.
  • Proactively address issues and communicate findings and suggestions to clients and senior management.
  • Attend annual renewal meetings, assist with relationship development with clients and brokers, and review renewal strategy with the regional president and client managers.
  • Assign and monitor CM, CC, and Sales/Marketing workloads.
  • Facilitate ongoing education and development of the Client Management staff regarding industry trends, regulatory changes, and new products.
  • Provide high‑priority issue resolution and support new client implementations, working collaboratively with other functions and adhering to project plans.
  • Provide consultative client support, high‑level customer service, and resolve client issues in a timely and equitable manner.
  • Drive upsales of products and services as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Required Job Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Client Management experience.
  • Previous experience managing a Client Management team.
  • Deep understanding of Luminare Health business strategy.
  • Project Management skills: prioritizing processes, meeting deadlines, and leading diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and share information concisely.
  • Interpersonal skills: rapport with all kinds of people, diplomacy, and tension diffusion.
  • Cross‑functional team building: creating purpose, morale, and respect.
  • Self‑motivated, energized by challenge, and tenacious in moving toward completion.
  • PC literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • State insurance license.
  • Consultative selling skills.
