The Role at a GlanceAs our Project Manager, you will lead the successful execution of construction projects from planning to closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance. We'll count on you to collaborate with Preconstruction and project teams, maintain schedules, manage budgets, and build effective relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors. In this key role, you’ll need exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to mentor team members, address challenges proactively, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Your expertise in financial oversight, schedule coordination, resource management, and quality control will be instrumental in delivering outstanding results and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Pre-Construction and Project Planning: Support the Preconstruction team by assisting with bid invitations, reviewing vendor agreements, and providing input on baseline schedules and preliminary logistics. Facilitate preconstruction meetings, finalize subcontractor buyouts, and ensure smooth transitions from planning to construction by preparing and distributing project-specific instruction.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee project budgets, prepare and track owner billings, and manage subcontractor payments and change orders to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and alignment with project timelines and budget expectations.
- Schedule and Resource Management: Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to maintain schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage resources to meet critical milestones and ensure on-time project delivery.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Enforce quality standards across all phases of the project to ensure alignment with drawings and specifications. Support field teams in maintaining safety protocols and addressing compliance issues promptly and effectively.

Collaboration:
Foster strong collaboration with Owners, Architects, Subcontractors, and internal teams to align on goals and expectations. Lead project meetings, delegate responsibilities effectively, and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers to drive team success. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project records using Procore, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting documentation. Deliver timely updates on project progress, budgets, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential project risks early and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Director of Operations. Resolve critical issues efficiently through effective communication with Owners and Architects.
- Project Closeout and Warranty: Lead the completion of punch lists and closeout activities, ensuring client satisfaction. Oversee warranty processes to meet the highest standards for deliverables and maintain strong client relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide actionable feedback to support their growth. Drive process improvements and champion training initiatives to enhance overall project delivery and team performance.
You must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs and ladders occasionally, with the ability to walk on uneven ground while navigating active construction sites. Depth perception is required to avoid excavations and other hazards, and the ability to hear warning sounds such as horns and sirens from moving equipment is essential for safety. The role involves standing for extended periods, up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift, and the occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
