LocationRichardson, TX (hybrid – commutable within Richardson, TX or Tucson, AZ)
What You Will Do- Provide oversight and daily direction to a virtual team of procurement professionals located across the country
- Assess team and individual performance and provide feedback and coaching
- Organize workload across the team, assign backlog, problem solve and handle escalations for negotiations and various issues
- Drive efficiencies, closely monitor, develop strategies and influence performance results on key metrics
- Serve as the escalation path for consumers or stakeholders and engage in problem resolution where needed
- Review purchase order documentation against work instructions and policy
- Increase knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams
- Streamline procurement processes, remove barriers, and support internal customer requirements
- Act as a valued business partner to provide solutions, alternative approaches, and reduce cost impacts to the business
- Track, report, and present to leadership on projects, team metrics, etc.
- Utilize metrics to implement improvements and generate a strong focus on customer relationships while motivating team members on delivering internal objectives
- Promote a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Drive change management and transformation initiatives
- Mentor, train and develop team for career progression
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, engineering or equivalent; or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience or a minimum of 5 years of experience with an advanced degree
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team of professionals
- Well‑versed experience in supply chain compliance, procurement, and supplier management
- Working knowledge of Raytheon’s supply chain systems and SAP purchasing tools
- Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance (FAR/DFAR, ITAR) and negotiating terms and conditions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities in a matrix environment
- Data‑driven approach using metrics to drive performance
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and attention to detail skills
- Competitive salary range: $101,000 – $203,000 USD
