Position Overview

The Process Engineer will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This position offers an exciting opportunity for early‑career professionals to apply engineering principles in a hands‑on production environment while contributing to the success of the department. The role directly supports the team’s goals by driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing operational performance.

What

You'll Do
  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and throughput.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling specifications.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives through project participation and data analysis.
  • Perform time studies and cycle time analysis to balance workflow and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with new product introductions and process validation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (internship or co‑op experience preferred).
  • Advanced understanding of Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Proficiency in problem‑solving tools such as Pareto analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and PDCA.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross‑functional environment.
  • Proactive and detail‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
