We are seeking a CPG Digital Marketing Analyst to drive brand and sales growth across paid and organic digital channels, with a strong focus on eCommerce, retail media, and omnichannel shopper marketing. This role will play a key part in shaping digital marketing strategy across search, social, retail media, SMS, and email to support customer acquisition, engagement, and loyalty for CPG brands.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience in CPG or eCommerce marketing, has a strong analytical mindset, hands‑on experience with marketing data, and high proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, and Tableau.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze CPG advertising and eCommerce performance data to uncover insights and identify opportunities to improve brand awareness, conversion, and sales velocity.
- Develop and implement data‑driven recommendations to optimize digital advertising campaigns across paid search, paid social, retail media, and owned channels.
- Design, execute, and evaluate A / B tests and experiments to improve campaign effectiveness and shopper engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to build dashboards and reporting in Tableau that track key metrics such as ROAS, conversion rate, sales lift, and share of shelf.
- Maintain a deep understanding of cross‑platform and omnichannel performance.
- Prepare analyses and visual reports that clearly communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
- Evaluate creative, messaging, and audience strategies to improve performance utilizing data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Partner with eCommerce and retail teams to optimize campaigns across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart Ads, and Target Roundel.
- Build category, retailer, and shopper insights to inform cross‑functional decisions and long‑term growth strategies.
- Continuously monitor performance, identify emerging trends or issues (e.g., seasonality, promotions, pricing, inventory), and recommend strategies to address them.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar).
- 4+ years of experience in CPG, eCommerce, digital marketing, or marketing analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and Tableau; experience with retail media platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads) and paid social / search is a plus.
- Experience working with CPG metrics such as ROAS, sales lift, conversion rate, basket size, repeat purchase, and retailer performance.
- Ability to build and interpret dashboards and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent communication skills and executive‑ready presentation capabilities.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
- Methodical, driven self‑starter with a strong desire to learn, optimize, and deliver high‑quality work.
- Passion for analytics, CPG brands, and continuous learning in digital marketing and eCommerce.
