Medical City Dallas is a large tertiary center that offers advanced pediatric cardiac care. We are seeking an enthusiastic Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse to help us reach our goals and provide high‑quality, family‑centered care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population.
Job Summary and QualificationsPerform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery. Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the individualized plan of care. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement. Support the mission, vision and values of the organization.
What Qualifications You Will Need- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or valid compact license
- CCRN preferred
- Congenital Heart experience and/or high‑acuity PICU experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year PICU or CHSU RN experience
