RN - Super Pool Women Services

Medical City Dallas, a tertiary care center with 895+ beds, is looking for a dedicated RN to join our Super Pool Women Services.

Job Summary

Accountable for consistent, safe, high‑quality care of all laboring patients from admission to post‑delivery. Familiar with vaginal and C‑section births, fetal monitoring, and various types of anesthesia. Demonstrate expertise in caregiving during PACU and newborn care first two hours of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to laboring patients from admission through post‑delivery.
  • Perform fetal monitoring and support various anesthesia modalities.
  • Deliver postoperative care in PACU and administer newborn care during first two hours of life.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days.
  • Registered Nurse license in Texas (compact or multi‑state accepted).
  • Associate Degree required; BSN required within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience as an RN in Women Services in a hospital environment (L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum).
  • Demonstrated ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to 4 years.
  • Participate in on‑call schedule.
