A partner hospital in Richardson/Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a DVM who is passionate about providing high-quality care in an urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide urgent care to animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Perform surgery when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure they are fully informed about their pets' health and care plan.
Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active license in good standing to practice in Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experience in urgent care medicine is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively.
