Position:

WCCTV is looking for a qualified
Sales / Business Development Executive Team Leader responsible for leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) responsible for performing lead generation and business development activities with new and existing customers in support of the Company’s sales and revenue targets. Responsible for driving the Team's results against sales activity targets / KPIs along with meeting their own sales activity targets / KPIs.

Key responsibilities for the position include:

  • Provides daily assistance, mentoring and support to assigned Business Development Representatives (BDRs) ensuring each team member is meeting established KPIs on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Monitors and ensures all BDR team members are following internal processes related to CRM and sales activity / KPI reporting
  • Works with the Sales Enablement Manager in the formulation of plans for outbound lead generation, call volume levels, conversion ratios and ultimately sales of WCCTV products and services.
  • Provides performance feedback on assigned BDRs to senior management as part of weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or year‑end evaluations.
  • Identify high and low performers by monitoring each team members daily progress towards established KPIs and make recommendations for low performers who need remedial training or placement on Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
  • Leads weekly 1:1 review process with assigned BDRs with a focus on current KPIs and activity/progress towards meeting KPIs.
  • Demonstrates and provides training on client engagement techniques and dialog, utilizing things like call recordings, roll play, and actual live joint calls for purpose of improving call process/results and skills growth.
  • Meets monthly or more frequently with Regional Sales Managers to fine tune sales strategy and tactics for achieving established targets in each region.
  • Participates in the hiring process by interviewing candidates for open BDR positions for the team.
  • Participates in disciplinary and termination actions of team members.
  • Conducts portions of the new employee training program with newly hired BDRs as assigned.

Business Development and Sales Appointment Scheduling

  • Research and identifies potential customers and projects using a number of sources including internet, trade journals, in‑house database, business referrals and external lead generation databases.
  • Develop business relationships with current customers and regularly calls customers to discuss current and future sales opportunities.
  • Plans and organizes daily work schedule to research and call on potential sales opportunities.
