What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform service, diagnostics, programming, and repair of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls
- Support and lead service calls while assisting with larger projects alongside project managers
- Work hands‑on with DDC controllers, low‑voltage wiring, and graphical programming
- Program and troubleshoot systems across platforms including Tridium Niagara, ABB/Cylon, Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, AAON, and others
- Interpret wiring diagrams, control schematics, and mechanical plans
- Identify system issues, recommend solutions, and ensure optimal performance
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, serving as a trusted technical advisor
- Maintain accurate documentation, service reports, and system updates
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience diagnosing, programming, and repairing building automation systems
- Strong background in controls and ladder‑logic programming (DDC, PLC, or similar)
- Hands‑on experience with platforms such as ABB/Cylon, Distech, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls
- Tridium Niagara experience strongly preferred (N4 certification a plus)
- Experience using MS Visio for documentation and system design
Ability to manage work independently and see jobs through from start to finish - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent customer‑facing communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed
