Software Manager

• Oversee software development projects from beginning to delivery, designing creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage projects to ensure timely, high‑quality results while leading the team in implementing and integrating new features.
• Actively engage in all Kanban activities, collaborate to stay on schedule and budget, and help create recovery plans for scope changes or missed milestones.
• Contribute directly to application development and handle daily management of the teams skills, workload, and time off to meet goals.
• Lead, coach, and support the team to build capabilities and develop leaders, ensuring best practices are followed and cross‑training strategies are in place.
• Partner with Project and Product Management to set build schedules, oversee timely software release builds, and manage development tools, environments, servers, and repositories.

Education &

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred), with coursework in image processing, 3D graphics, or computational geometry a plus.

At least 3 years in a software development leadership role, proficiency in C, C++, or C# (multiple languages preferred), and strong skills with Visual Studio, Jira, and source control systems.

Solid understanding of 3D computer graphics, including mesh manipulation, computational geometry, and linear algebra, with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.
