VP of Agentic Development

VP of Agentic Development role at Real Page, Inc.

The VP of Agentic Development will lead the adoption and integration of agentic development methodologies across the organization. The VP will drive efficiency, quality, and velocity by implementing AI‑assisted coding practices, selecting and rolling out agentic development tools, and transforming development processes to align with next‑generation AI capabilities.

• Leading the team through management and mentorship
• Contributing to recruitment activities
• Consult with product management to analyze, plan and execute projects
• Review design, architecture and delegate technical responsibilities as needed
• Provide guidance and insight to executive leadership
• Assist in resolving issues that arise with customers
• Ensure that quality standards are consistently met
• Co‑develop technical strategy with the architecture team
• Inspire loyalty, engender trust, and attract talent
• Energize people and foster cross‑functional collaboration
• Make tough decisions when necessary without extensive meetings and analysis
• Distill complex issues in a succinct fashion of communication

• Champion adoption of agentic development tools and practices across Engineering teams
• Establish environments and frameworks to leverage AI‑driven coding assistance
• Collaborate with development leaders to transform processes for AI methodologies
• Define and monitor KPIs for efficiency, quality, and velocity improvements
• Oversee vendor selection and tool integration for agentic development
• Drive organizational change management for AI‑enabled workflows
• Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations and internal security standards

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
• 15+ years in software engineering leadership; 5+ years in AI/ML or Agentic Development

• Requires knowledge of AI Practices in SAAS businesses and the ability to ensure effective adoption across the Engineering Org
• Deep understanding of AI‑Assisted coding tools and agentic frameworks

• Ability to manage complex transformation initiatives.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
