Sci Tech Academy seeks Middle School 6th - 8th Graders for English Language Arts for the 2025-26 School Year.

Sci Tech Academy is a nationally certified K–8 STEM school recognized for its innovative approach to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Our school is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and providing hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for future success in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.

Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for a middle school learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the instructional coach and principal.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and tests in accordance with established procedures.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Encourage and monitor individual student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Participate in department, school, district, and parent meetings.
• Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.

• Participate in professional development and community activities.
• Engage in school-wide activities, meetings, social events, clubs, and student organizations as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• B.A./B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field.
• Minnesota State certification in teaching in the appropriate subject area (5-8) or equivalent.
• Meet professional teacher education requirements of the school, district, and state.
