Sci Tech Academy seeks a K-8 ELL License Teacher for the 2025-26 School Year.

Sci Tech Academy is a nationally certified K–8 STEM school recognized for its innovative approach to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Our school is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and providing hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for future success in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.

• Provide English instruction to ELL students
• Serve as a resource for the ELL program
• Assist classroom teachers in developing ELL instruction
• Ensure sheltered English instruction for all identified ELL students
• Administer the Sci Tech Academy Language Assessment (Access)
• Train teachers to work effectively with ELL students and understand the program
• Engage thoughtfully with a diverse group of students, teachers, and parents
• Be an effective organizer and planner
• Participate in staff in-services and conferences
• Collaborate closely with the principal and instructional leader
• Work with the Enrollment Office/Coordinator to support language and assessment processes

Grade K-8 elementary teaching experience with strong skills in literacy, writing, and reading instruction, planning experience, and experience working with diverse backgrounds and ELL populations in an urban environment.
