Summary: Retail warehousing product exists to deliver and enhance core systems for everyday inventory management practices as well as bring warehouse industry standards to high velocity retail-based customer fulfillment.

The Retail Warehousing (RSS) squad is the conduit for delivering end-user inventory management capabilities and innovations. Our mission is to create scalable solutions that:

The RSS application is designed with a cross-platform approach, a single build that seamlessly adapts to both large and small views. We are currently on an ambitious modernization journey that includes decoupling from legacy monolith systems, migrating to Cloud/AWS for scalability, security, and resilience, revamping the end-to-end user experience to improve usability and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to transforming the backbone of retail inventory operations while working with modern cloud technologies and design practices.

• As part of the Digital, Analytics and Technology team, the Tech Lead will:
• Design and Develop Solutions
• Lead the design and implementation of custom applications, integrations, and cloud-based services.
• Define and execute technology solutions that align with enterprise timelines and strategic objectives.
• Write specifications for customizations, system integrations, and data migrations.
• Drive Modernization and Innovation
• Guide the application’s journey from monolithic systems to cloud-native (AWS) architectures.
• Champion cross-platform development approaches that work seamlessly across large and small views.
• Ensure long-term system reliability, scalability, and supportability.
• Leadership and Mentorship
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering growth and strong engineering practices.
• Influence other technical leads, engineers, product partners, and managers to align on technical strategies.
• Act as a key decision-maker on architecture and design choices.
• Collaboration and Execution
• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to deliver solutions that meet critical business needs.
• Contribute to high-priority, strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ensure deliverables meet both technical and business expectations.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a Tech Lead or equivalent role.
• Hands-on experience with custom application development, integration technologies, and cloud migration (AWS preferred).
• Strong expertise in modern programming languages/frameworks (e.g., Java, React JS and React Native, Aurora SQL or No
  
  SQL databases).
• Proven ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Supply Chain applications a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Prior experience leading modernization efforts (monolith decoupling, cloud-native transformations, UX revamps).
• Strong understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence cross-functional partners.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:

$82.97 - $82.97/hr.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.
