Bus Maintenance Technician

The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a full time Garage Mechanic to maintain and repair all motor vehicles, transportation equipment and all motorized maintenance equipment (e.g. mowers, snow blowers, tractors, etc.) owned by the District, based on priority and/or seasonal considerations, to help ensure all vehicles and equipment are kept in a safe, ready-to-use and reliable condition.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Documented completion of a comprehensive vocational training program in truck mechanics, including gasoline and diesel engines, drive trains, air brakes and general maintenance and at least two years' experience in repair and maintenance of large trucks and buses.
• Currently in possession of, or able to secure a class B commercial license from the state of Minnesota with air brake, school bus and passenger endorsements.

Pay Rate: $21.24 - $25.92 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
