SV Tech Systems is a leading provider of recruitment and staffing services for various industries, providing services to firms in the United States and Canada.

We are seeking a candidate for a 6-month contract position located at 7601 Penn Avenue South, Richfield, MN 55423 (local candidates only).

  Expand existing fulfillment options on the website.

  Sell mobile phones with activated plans.

Description:

• Payment Team:
  Implement automated payment options, including Apple Pay.
• Fulfillment Team:
  Enhance shipping and delivery options for fast and affordable product fulfillment.
• Activated Devices:
  Transform the checkout experience with a service-oriented architecture and responsive front-end design.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement critical system components per the solution architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product vision and business goals.
• Participate in sprint planning sessions.
• Build required documentation for components.
• Develop new or modify existing test cases to effectively test system components.
• Work with operations and support teams to triage system issues.

Skills Overview:

The ideal candidate should have:

• 6 years of experience building distributed, highly scalable ecommerce software in Java, ideally with Linux.
• 2+ years of experience with the Spring Framework Stack.
• 2+ years of experience building RESTful services using Groovy.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Expert knowledge of servlet containers and web-oriented architectures.
• 2 years of experience in a continuous integration environment with Test-Driven Development principles.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with commerce platforms (ATG).
• Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., Apache Cassandra, Basho Riak, Mongo
  
  DB, Redis).
• Working knowledge of single-page applications (using backbone.js / Angular.js).
• High comfort level with Unix (especially Linux).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Spock).
• Familiarity with active-active scale-out and high-availability architectures.
