Head Girls Volleyball Coach with a teaching position possibility (flexible content area).

Qualifications for a teaching position include a Utah Teaching License with corresponding license area concentration and endorsements for a content area needed.

Coaching

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching life skills and sportsmanship
• Supporting the athlete's schooling, grades, and attendance
• Overseeing eligibility – registering each individual athlete for games and deciding who will be competing
• Designing workouts that will prepare the athletes for competition
• Recognizing which events each individual will participate in to benefit both them and the team
• Continue learning more and updating techniques
• Organizing and overseeing conditioning, practices, and games
• Knowing the rules and regulations of the sport
• Attending coaches' meetings
• Issuing and collecting uniforms
• Fundraising
• Providing forms and information on athletes to the athletic director
• Attending trainings such as CPR and first aid
• Providing announcements on the team's and athletes' performances to the school and social media
• Handling finances (budgeting)
• Keeping track of equipment and making sure it is in condition to be used in competition
• Upholding the standards of the school at practice and competition
