Occupational Therapist – Full Time – Stonehenge Richfield
Stonehenge Richfield in UT is a post‑acute care facility that provides long‑term, short‑term, and geriatric services. Our in‑house therapy team is stable, collaborative, and dedicated to helping geriatric clients on their recovery journey.
We are seeking a full‑time Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation program.
Duties- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop an appropriate care plan following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically‑necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including, but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Modify services in relation to patient evaluation and refer as necessary.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, their families, caregivers, and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provide a comprehensive discharge summary of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license required.
- Open to therapists of all experience levels; new graduates are welcome.
