ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. The Technical Support Specialist III will provide highly complex administrative and technical support to the Accounting & Budgets Director, their direct reports, and personnel associated with nuclear projects. This role is responsible for performing advanced, diversified, and confidential technical duties, leading special projects, and serving in a leadership capacity by guiding complex initiatives and/or administrative staff.

Responsibilities include composing and initiating routine correspondence, memoranda, reports, and meeting minutes. The Specialist will also resolve both routine and complex inquiries, maintain performance indicators through accurate data entry, prepare and manage budgets, lead meetings, and deliver training as needed. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.

Pay rate: $25.51

Responsibilities:

  • Attend staff and all-hands meetings
  • Record a list of actions taken during meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas.
  • Assemble daily meeting packages for NPGM and direct reports.
  • Action Tracking.
  • Review AR/CR Report daily to ensure AR assignments are completed on time.
  • Provide reports and reminders to department personnel to ensure timely closure of AR actions.
  • Perform administrative duties for the NPGM and direct reports.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts in the organization with little direction from management.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment, analyzing conflicting demands and making recommendations to management.
  • Participate independently as a member of the management team.
  • Assume responsibility for complex tasks assigned to the General Manager or direct reports, relieving them of administrative burdens.
  • Maintain schedules, and coordinate meetings and training for the NPGM and direct reports.
  • Provide administrative support to NPGM and direct reports in areas including but not limited to the following:
  • Read/respond to correspondence.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Use Workday to input Time and Labor and run reports.
  • Work with General Manager and direct reports to monitor and maintain department budgets.
  • Administer department credit cards, including tracking and authorizing payments and purchases (e.g., department safety shoes, safety glasses, and database access).
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of department credit accounts.
  • Administer the department’s travel program, ensuring compliance with company policies and booking/reimbursement practices.
  • Enroll personnel in training databases, as necessary.
  • Obtain, analyze, and act on feedback from customers and suppliers to improve communication between management, employees, and external agencies.
  • Assist in obtaining company access for contractors, visitors, etc.
  • Support in-processing efforts, including performing in-processing functions through SSIS.
  • In collaboration with managers and supervisors, assist with the preparation and processing of contracts within Construction and Project Management, Reactor and Major Maintenance, and Site Services.
  • Anticipate the future needs of the department and work with the General Manager, direct reports, and staff to implement necessary changes and improvements.
  • Ensure qualifications are being met, refresher training is scheduled, and qualification assignments are accurate for individuals within the NPGM organization.
  • Ensure safety meeting attendance.
  • Attend training sessions related to job skills.
  • Perform as a member of an Emergency Response Team (ERO) and participate in outage assignments when directed.
