Airswift is seeking a Project Support Specialist to work on a long-term assignment supporting the Construction and Project Management (C&PM) team for a major energy provider.
This role will play a key part in organizing, maintaining, and enhancing digital collaboration platforms like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams across a portfolio of capital and O&M projects. The position requires a strong sense of independence, technical accuracy, and organizational awareness to support project documentation, team communication, and administrative processes. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity, training, and efficient project execution support.
Responsibilities- Independently manage and maintain department and project-specific SharePoint sites, ensuring documents are uploaded, organized, and accessible.
- Support project closeout activities including document archiving, duplication, and distribution across digital platforms.
- Act as the primary contact for SharePoint access issues and user training for internal and contract staff.
- Assist project managers in maintaining up-to-date project files, status tracking, and compliance with company procedures.
- Prepare and deliver written and verbal communications across various departments.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for department staff and contractors, including paperwork processing and system access.
- Assist in project startup and closeout tasks as needed.
- Provide administrative support during the biennial refueling outage.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Teams and SharePoint work spaces reflect the current state of project documentation and communication.
- Train team members and new users on SharePoint best practices and project collaboration tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Prior experience supporting construction or engineering projects with digital tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions within established guidelines, and exercise sound judgment.
- Familiarity with Energy Northwest’s core values or ability to adopt them: safety, integrity, excellence, and accountability.
- Knowledge of company processes and procedures, or ability to learn quickly.
