Job SummaryWe are seeking a Strategic Planning & Risk Analyst III to join our Nuclear Project teams. In this role, you will provide strategic planning and enterprise risk management support across all business units. Responsibilities include evaluating and integrating strategy and risk management into operations, guiding program activities, developing and maintaining risk registers, and providing assurance mapping. This role also involves program‑level decision‑making related to internal controls and risk, ensuring strong coordination across organizational areas, and supporting continuous improvement of risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for identifying, assessing, and managing enterprise risks and internal controls.
- Establish and promote risk management methodologies, tools, and techniques across the organization.
- Collect, evaluate, and maintain data related to risk assessments, controls, and mitigation activities.
- Partner with business units to build and enhance risk management capabilities, develop risk registers, and compile data.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and control evaluations; prepare and present comprehensive reports on findings.
- Perform follow‑up activities to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and mitigation actions.
- Design and deliver training, workshops, and awareness programs to strengthen risk culture.
- Coordinate with the Executive Board Auditor and designated contacts on risk and audit matters.
- Maintain risk and audit documentation in compliance with regulatory and retention requirements.
- Provide oversight and guidance to matrixed team members, contractors, or staff supporting risk or audit activities.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness; recommend and implement enhancements.
- Conduct benchmarking studies, special assignments, and initiatives as directed.
- Support biennial refueling outage activities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and seven years of experience in Business, Strategy, Risk, Audit, or a related field.
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university and nine years of experience in Business, Strategy, Risk, Audit, or a related field.
- High school diploma or GED and eleven years of experience in Business, Strategy, Risk, Audit, or a related field.
- Strong decision‑making and communication skills
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Proactive, results‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
- Commitment to nuclear, radiological, and personnel safety
- Nuclear project experience.
- Familiarity with risk tools/software (Safran experience desirable)
- Experience with energy or nuclear business processes
