Description:
We are seeking a physician specializing in internal medicine - cardiology for locum tenens coverage.
The position involves inpatient care with daily rounding.
Providers will work a schedule covering two weeks per month.
Shift hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.Night call will be required after shift hours.
The expected patient encounters per shift range from 5 to 10.Providers should be available for ongoing coverage.
Credentialing can be expedited for clean file candidates only.
Required skills include inpatient cardiology, ICU experience, echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology.
This is a long-term need with the potential for ongoing work.
