SUMMARY:
The Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation’s Extended Day Program goals are:
- To provide safe, affordable, high quality before and after school care for children while parents work or attend school
The design of the program allows for a safe environment while actively involving children in enriching experiences during before and after school hours when parents are working or in school.
- The Before School Component operates from 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. following the RBBCSC calendar.
- The After School Component operates from 3:15 – 5:45 p.m. following the RBBCSC calendar.
- Assist to engage students in weekly activities and programs
- Assist in implementing EPS procedures and expectations
- Promote student safety
- Other duties as assigned by administration

LANGUAGESKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to students, parents and/or staff.
REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHERSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to use appropriate language and accompanying techniques with adolescents on a one-to-one basis as well as in groups. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents; skill in oral and written communication.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
