Pro Sidian Seeks a Construction Inspection and Compliance Specialist [DOE
0132131] for Program Support on a Contract Contingent/Contract W-2 basis, generally located across the CONUS with emphasis in Richland, Washington. This position supports DOE EM Hanford in a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.
We seek Construction Inspection and Compliance Specialist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector experience to support professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy – Environmental Management (DOE-EM/HFO). The role may be contract contingent or contract W-2, supporting Science, Engineering and Design Support, Construction and Operations Oversight within the Hanford Field Office (HFO). Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time employed W-2 position.

Provide services and support as a Construction Inspection and Compliance Specialist in the Environmental Management Industry Sector, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as DOE. The assignment is generally located in the Pacific Northwest Region (Richland, WA) and may involve work across the CONUS and beyond. Science, engineering, and construction oversight are aimed at ensuring safe designs, efficient operations, and progress toward Hanford cleanup.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Construction Inspection and Compliance Specialist for General Support Services (GSS) at the Hanford Field Office (HFO)
- Conduct operations surveillances, review logs, coordinate readiness reviews, escalate safety concerns
- Provide expertise across physical sciences, civil/structural engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, fire protection engineering, instrumentation and control, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, nuclear engineering, work inspection, field engineering management, and construction compliance
- Support operations oversight including commissioning, deactivation and decommissioning, and environmental remediation (soil and groundwater remediation, and waste and nuclear material stabilization and disposition)
- Location near CONUS - Richland, Washington. Initial work site: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, WA 99354
Desired Qualifications for Construction Inspection and Compliance Specialist [DOE
0132131]: 7–10+ years of DOE operations oversight; nuclear/industrial facilities preferred.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
BS in Engineering/Science or equivalent. 7–10+ years DOE operations oversight; nuclear/industrial facilities preferred. Functional alignment with Environmental Management Sector and Construction Inspection and Compliance Specialist roles.
Skills
Primarily focused on program and project management support in daily activities, initiatives, and Program Support activities within Science, Engineering and Design Support, Construction and Operations Oversight.
Experience in operations oversight, procedure review, and reporting.

The Role

- Travel: coordinated with technical point of contact and approved in writing; travel allowed per Federal Travel Regulations
- Security Requirements: facility clearance for Pro Sidian team; DOE clearance as indicated for classified work
- Place of Performance:
Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, WA - Government-Furnished Resources: on-site office space, computers, and software at HFO; performance primarily on-site with some remote support as approved
