Position: Civil Engineer

Location: Richland, Washington

• Salary: $28.00–$37.00 per hour

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and professional registration (or obtainable within one year of hire in Washington)
• 4+ years as a consulting engineer with design and project management of land development and municipal projects
• Strong understanding of civil design, construction standards, and environmental constraints
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and budgets
• Flexibility and creativity in engineering approaches
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, and MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Management experience leading and supervising staff
• Marketing experience writing proposals and procuring projects

• Plan, administer, and design civil engineering projects
• Coordinate project needs and deliverables with other discipline leads and business units
• Manage design staff as lead engineer on project tasks
• Provide leadership in efficient and constructability design of civil projects
• Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction and objectives are met
• Participate in business development opportunities
• Engage in professional organizations and functions
• Mentor young professionals
• Estimate and budget labor hours for design projects; review cost reports
• Manage project financials and billings
