What You’ve Accomplished

• Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent

• At least 8 years of directly related experience

• For surveillance roles, this must include at least 5 years of nuclear facility experience

• Advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

• Good communication skills to comprehend procedures, specifications, and drawings with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors, and customers

• Ability to evaluate documentation for compliance

As a Quality Technician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Quality Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit.

Your work will include:

• Conduct physical measurements and tests of components as needed to verify quality characteristics
• Utilize judgment and experience to identify issues which affect product quality in manufacturing areas
• Utilize judgment and experience to identify procedural and process weaknesses in manufacturing areas
• Conduct independent verification of completion of actions reported as complete within the corrective action program
• To play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules
• Perform documentation reviews to ensure supplier and manufacturing compliance with specifications, drawings, and purchase orders
• Create CR condition reports as needed

Discover Richland:

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package The range of base salary for the position is between $33.20 – $43.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
