Critical Power GroupThis group maintains, services, and troubleshoots UPS systems, batteries, and critical infrastructure equipment. Our technicians are factory trained on major UPS manufacturers and perform preventive maintenance, testing, and emergency services at high-profile facilities. We also provide engineering and technical support.
Responsibilities- Inspect static switch systems and associated components, certify adherence to standards, and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform technical inspections, maintenance, and provide expert advice to site personnel.
- Meet physical demands, including lifting batteries and working at heights, observing safety standards.
- Maintain operational expertise with various instruments.
- Be available 24/7 when on call, with potential overnight travel.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Work under general supervision, with freedom within policies. The role focuses on inspection and certification of power electronics to ensure reliability and quality of power systems.
Qualifications- AA/BS in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent training.
- At least 2+ years of experience with UPS systems, batteries, and electrical apparatuses.
- Ability to interpret schematics, knowledge of NEC, and maintenance practices.
- Diagnose malfunctions using testing techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic communication devices.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to undergo training.
