Job Description Pro Sidian  Seeks a Nuclear Safety and QA Support Specialist headquartered near Richland, WA 99319 to support an engagement for the DOE Office of River Protection (ORP) - an independent office at the DOE Site in eastern Washington state with the exclusive focus of remediating and solving the DOE’s tank cleanup challenges. ORP’s mission is to protect the Columbia River by safely cleaning up radioactive and chemical waste contained in underground storage tanks located at the DOE Site.

The Pro Sidian Engagement Team Members work to provide Site Technical Support Services assistance including technical support services in environmental remediation, and related technical and administrative program management support expertise and assistance in carrying out responsibilities to plan, direct and oversee design, construction, environmental remediation, cleanup and operation of government facilities to support ORP at Hanford in the Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities
- Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area Nuclear Safety and QA Support Specialist Candidates shall work to support requirements for ORP Site Technical Support Services and provide ORP Nuclear Safety and QA Technical Support Services OBO The United States Department of Energy, Office of River Protection (ORP) at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington for ORP's Technical and Regulatory Support Division.  

The Pro Sidian Nuclear Safety and QA Support Specialist shall provide nuclear safety expertise, to strategically manage integration between nuclear safety, engineering, Quality Assurance (QA) between both Department of Energy (DOE) – Office of River Protection (ORP) and Bechtel National, Inc. (BNI) to address the specific tasks identified below.

DELIVERABLESPerform nuclear safety strategic support for the analysis and response to the BNI Nuclear Safety Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA ). Task completion will be represented by the DOE issued technical position and disposition of the REA.Manage resolution of BNI issues through joint ORP/BNI integration using the tools established by the nuclear safety and QA war rooms, including but not limited to;

accelerated response teams, rapid prototyping, and escalation resulting in the completion of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) QA report final response.

Provide strategic solutions to emerging project challenges such as defense in depth, safety SSC procurement, and alignment of QA requirements with nuclear safety, ongoing maturation of interface between Nuclear Safety, QA, Engineering and Operations.
